The Legacy of Vee-Jitsu, Sanuces Ryu & Kumite Ryu

CT School of Survival is built on the combined legacy of three foundational arts — Vee-Jitsu, Sanuces Ryu, and Kumite Ryu, collectively known as VSK jiujitsu.

professor vee

Professor Florendo “Vee” Visitacion — Vee-Jitsu

Professor Vee’s early work in integrated martial arts forms laid the groundwork for eclectic jiujitsu styles. His approach blended many arts into a unified system and helped define the roots of the VSK family.
MosesPowell-1

Dr. Moses Powell — Sanuces Ryu

Dr. Moses Powell, a 10th-degree black belt and martial arts legend, founded Sanuces Ryu — a system born from over 45 years of cross-discipline mastery. His contributions include teaching law enforcement, performing at the United Nations, and influencing martial arts globally.
Soke-Lil-John

Soke Lil John Davis — Kumite Ryu

The School of Survival Soke Lil John Davis established Kumite Ryu Jujitsu in Harlem. With deep experience in multiple arts and over 40 years training, he developed a system emphasizing practical combative techniques for the street and competition alike.
